                                    Q: At what age did you start martial arts, and why did you choose Shotokan?A: I started martial arts at age five, thanks to my dad. He wanted me to understand respect and self-defense from a young age, and I%u2019m grateful for that foundation. Q: What do you find most rewarding about working with teenage girls, women, and mothers in strength training?A: Watching women of all ages discover strength within themselves is incredibly rewarding. With teens, it%u2019s about teaching them their limitless potential. For mothers and other women, it%u2019s often about turning challenges and emotional %u201cbaggage%u201d into their biggest sources of strength. Q: What was the biggest challenge you faced opening a gym during the pandemic?A: One of the toughest parts was being taken seriously at a young age, especially during such a difficult time.
