THE MOST REWARDING PART OF BEING A MEDICAL DEVICE REPRESENTATIVE IS INTERACTING WITH BRILLIANT PEOPLE AND HEARING HOW MY DEVICES HAVE SAVED LIVES.Q: How did your desire to give back lead you to take on the role of President at SFE Streets AZ?A: Growing up in a third-world country with very little, I promised myself that when I started earning, I would give back. I began by volunteering, and in January 2024, I partnered with Danielle Kramer to form SFE Streets AZ%u2014Safety, Fellowship, and Empowerment. Our mission is to build safer, more resilient communities across Arizona, addressing issues like drug abuse, homelessness, hunger, and the need for peer support. Our holistic approach is about fostering healing, empowerment, and lasting change.Q: What specific goals do you have for SFE Streets AZ, and what impact are you hoping to achieve?A: We aim to implement sustainable, evidence-based strategies to counter drug abuse, support the homeless, ensure access to nutritious food, and build a strong network of peer support that encourages personal growth and community solidarity. We believe in transparency, accountability, and collaboration to create a safer, healthier, and more inclusive Arizona.Q: How has your personal motto, %u201cGive to Give and not Give to Get,%u201d influenced your work and personal life?A: I love this question. As a Filipino woman, I%u2019m proud of our reputation for kindness and generosity. This motto has helped me build meaningful connections and set an example for other women: always lead with good intentions, never step on others to get ahead, and be kind. Q: What motivates you to continue helping others through both your professional and charitable work?A: Seeing people smile and hearing stories of lives I%u2019ve touched and inspired is the most rewarding feeling. Although I don%u2019t have kids yet, I hope to leave a legacy of lives changed through my work.14 MOST MAGAZINE - ISSUE 62
