                                    Exclusive InterviewWhat inspired you to pursue a career in health and fitness at such a young age? I started volunteering at our local hospital and became fascinated by how medicine and doctors operate. However, it was really the feeling of helping others that resonated with me. As for fitness, I was involved in sports from a young age, so it was always a natural part of my life. I loved the team dynamics and the challenge of setting and achieving new goals in every sport I played. I would spend countless hours doing drills and conditioning to prepare for upcoming seasons. In high school, I learned a lot about mobility, nutrition, and strength training from my coaches and athletic trainers, which further solidified my passion for fitness.How did playing basketball n college shape your approach to fitness and coaching?I chose to play college basketball, although I had offers for both track and basketball. Competing at the college level requires an entirely different level of dedication and organization. You must balance academics and athletics while traveling for games. This experience taught me to prioritize and organize my schedule effectively, which has been invaluable in my approach to fitness coaching. It also made prepping for bikini competitions easier because I was already so disciplined and organized. While I always strive to win, I also enjoy learning more about my body and mind to reach the next level.
