www.MOSTmag.com || FITNESS MAG A ZINE || 171ellamy is a fitness and nutrition revolutionary. With husband Kaleb by her side, the Bellamys are a physically fit team working hard at realizing the goals of their clients. Fitness Most talked to the physical trainer about transformations and the journey to creating a fit and healthier lifestyle. Mrs. Bellamy, wife and a mother of two, hails from Northern British Columbia in Canada. In her early years, she led an unhealthy lifestyle. Caitlyn was a smoker who never exercised, had poor eating habits, and was underweight. After watching her mother compete in a fitness show at the age of 49, she made a plan to follow in her footsteps and get healthy. The transformation process was not an easy one. Unlike most people, Caitlyn didn%u2019t have to lose weight; she was skinny with very little muscle mass. %u201cI am what they call a %u2018hard gainer%u2019 in the fitness industry.%u201d Adding muscle to her tall frame would be a slow process. %u201cI wanted to look like the women in the fitness magazines I was reading,%u201d recognizing that they had been training for years. Patience is extremely important, %u201cI wasn%u2019t going to achieve my dream physique in a few months of training.%u201dThe Bellamys started Revolutionary Fitness & Nutrition Consulting, being passionate about health, fitness, and spreading the word of how good nutrition and exercise can improve your quality of life. They offer one-on-one personal training, nutritional consulting, contest preparation packages, pose classes, as well as online training. We discussed Caitlyn%u2019s one-on-one training and her unique approach to getting fit. Her energy and passion for fitness and positive attitude is contagious. Those individuals who train with her get to experience that first-hand. %u201cI push my clients in the gym to make sure they are getting out of their comfort zone, but I like to think I make it fun, so the pain is a bit more bearable.%u201d Most of her personal training clients have been with her for years. Chanelle Young, one of Caitlyn%u2019s clients, credits the fitness expert with %u201chelping [her] to transform in more ways than just losing weight. She has helped [her] change [her] lifestyle for the better.%u201d As a personal trainer, there is nothing more gratifying than seeing a client achieve their goals. %u201cI think a lot of the time I am more excited than my clients are to see their progress.%u201d Helping people feel better about themselves and gain more confidence is the most rewarding feeling.Often people are apprehensive about getting fit, as the goal often seems unattainable. Caitlyn cannot stress enough the importance of patience. %u201cIt has taken me seven years to get where I am today, the slower the process, the better chance they have of making this a lifestyle and not just a short-term quick fix.%u201d She tells her clients that are trying to lose weight, %u201cthis is not a weight loss reality show, and you are not going to lose 10 pounds in one week.%u201d Those people are training five to eight hours a day and are on very calorierestricted diets. The fitness expert assures us that losing one to two pounds a week is a more realistic and healthy goal. By: Denise Smith
