They give me so much perspective, especially since I became a mom a couple of years ago. My daughter, Luc%u00eda, reminds me how precious time is, so even if I%u2019m overwhelmed with work or life in general, I always make sure to set everything aside and focus on being present for her. AS A PRODUCER, YOU%u2019VE BEEN INVOLVED IN SEVERAL SUCCESSFUL PROJECTS. HOW DO YOU CHOOSE WHICH PROJECTS TO PURSUE, AND WHAT%u2019S YOUR VISION FOR BLUE RABBIT FILMS MOVING FORWARD?I%u2019m interested in stories that inspire, open conversations, and resonate with audiences. We have films and TV shows in development in Colombia and the U.S. that are allowing us to grow our community and reach. WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST REWARDING PART OF YOUR JOURNEY FROM COLOMBIA TO INTERNATIONAL FAME?That I%u2019ve been able to open doors not just for myself but for many people in my country. I hope my work inspires others to chase their dreams and reminds them how powerful persistence can be. IN YOUR OPINION, HOW HAS THE INDUSTRY EVOLVED FOR WOMEN, ESPECIALLY WOMEN OF COLOR, IN RECENT YEARS?We are more part of the conversation. Our stories matter, and we%u2019ve created the space to share them. There%u2019s still a long way to go, but we are no longer waiting for others to open the doors%u2014we are opening them ourselves. WHAT CAN AUDIENCES EXPECT FROM YOU NEXT?I%u2019m in the middle of promoting The Residence, I%u2019ll be at the Chicago Latino Film Festival with Dear Gentlemen, and I%u2019m working on several exciting projects as both an actress and producer.
