The Residence is written in such a smart, funny, and interesting way that it makes you want to learn more about every character in the White House, and I loved the role Elsye plays in that world. She is a housekeeper, which means she knows a lot about what happens daily at the White House. She%u2019s very professional, meticulous, smart, and reserved. She loves her job, and what I loved most about her was all the layers we needed to build.
