I%u2019ve always looked up to Sof%u00eda, so sharing the screen with her and working with the team she chose was very special. She is so professional, talented, generous, funny, kind, and loving that I can%u2019t be more grateful for the opportunity the show gave me to explore Marta%u2019s life while creating alongside her. GRISELDA BROKE RECORDS WITH OVER A BILLION MINUTES OF VIEWERSHIP. HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE PART OF A SERIES THAT MADE SUCH A HUGE IMPACT?It%u2019s been amazing and surreal. It%u2019s been over a year since the show aired, and I%u2019m still receiving beautiful messages from people all over the world telling me how much they loved it and the impact it had on their lives. I knew it was a very powerful project, but you never know how the audience will receive it. I%u2019m so thankful to be part of such a hit, and I applaud the vision Sof%u00eda, Eric Newman, and Andi Baiz had for the show, as well as the way Netflix supported it. YOU%u2019VE WORKED WITH ICONIC ACTORS LIKE JAVIER BARDEM AND PEN%u00c9LOPE CRUZ IN LOVING PABLO. WHAT DID YOU LEARN FROM WORKING WITH THESE LEGENDS?I learned a lot from them, especially that no matter how much you%u2019ve succeeded, there is no space for egos. They have so much respect and love for acting that when you work with them, you remember that we act to serve the project and do it as a team. Javier loves to improvise before scenes, and so do I, so it helped a lot with the confidence I needed to portray his wife. I didn%u2019t feel like I was working with a %u201cstar%u201d; I was working with a colleague, and we were on that journey together. AS AN ACTRESS AND PRODUCER, HOW DO YOU BALANCE THE CREATIVE DEMANDS OF ACTING WITH THE BUSINESS SIDE OF PRODUCTION?I see more and more how acting and producing are intertwined in my life. I love how well they complement each other. My perspective as an actor has grown since I started producing. I feel less anxious about getting opportunities because I can now create them for myself. I%u2019ve also been very lucky to have great teams as a producer, so when I%u2019m needed on set, I know they have my back. Having great teams for both makes a huge difference.MOST
