Q: You%u2019ve served on boards for arts and education. How have these experiences enriched your life and career?A: I can%u2019t imagine not giving back to the communities that enrich my life. My husband and I admire the Future Farmers of America%u2019s work, helping Napa Valley youth learn the skills needed for wine and agriculture. Supporting these programs is important to us.Q: Tell us about life in St. Helena and your connection to Napa Valley. What does the community mean to you?A: It%u2019s the lifeblood of what makes this town special. We%u2019re a talent-rich community, and everyone contributes. Our youth often leave for college and then return to take leadership roles, keeping it vibrant and meaningful. It%u2019s a little slice of heaven.Q: What values do you aim to instill in your two adult children as they pursue their careers?A: Both are entrepreneurial and willing to trust their instincts. Our son works in Silicon Valley and thrives in startup culture, and our daughter is a winemaker managing our vineyards. I%u2019m proud of them both and the lives they%u2019ve created.Q: What advice would you give to anyone considering a major career shift or following a passion later in life?A: Go for it! Trust yourself. You know what got you here, and you know what will get you to the next step. Don%u2019t be a %u201cwoulda, shoulda, coulda.%u201dQ: Finally, what%u2019s next for you%u2014any new projects on the horizon that you%u2019re excited to share?A: I%u2019m focused on spending more time with my grandchildren, traveling with my husband, doing more modeling, and growing our wine brand in 2025.
