Where were you born and raised?I was born in Odessa, TX, and raised in Crane, TXWhat sports did you play during your school years?I played football and basketball.Which sport did you love the most growing up?Basketball, for sure.What line of work did you pursue in West Texas?I%u2019ve worked in the oil field for over 15 years.How did you maintain an active lifestyle while working in the oilfield?Staying active has always been a part of my life since I was little. It%u2019s something I%u2019ve always known to do.When did you meet Carmelita, and how did she influence your fitness journey?I met Carmelita around 2010. Seeing her progress really inspired me, and it helped that I always loved working out.What inspired you to start bodybuilding after watching Carmelita compete?Seeing her transformation made me curious. I wanted to see how I would look if I committed to bodybuilding too.How did reaching out to Carmelita%u2019s coach change your approach to fitness?It changed my life. It made me a better person, both inside and out.How has bodybuilding impacted you as a person, both physically and mentally?Bodybuilding has taught me a lot about myself, and I%u2019m most proud of the person I%u2019ve become through the process.When did you compete in your first bodybuilding competition?My first competition was in 2018 in San AntonioHow did your experience at the 2019 novice show shape your bodybuilding career?That experience pushed me to want more.
