                                    How has your experience as a hairstylist influenced your approach to helping others with their fitness and health?I firmly believe in leading by example. I%u2019ve struggled with weight fluctuations and stress eating, and my clients have seen me battle these challenges and overcome them. That%u2019s often how it starts%u2014people see my progress and ask for help with their own nutrition and fitness journeys.What has been the most rewarding part of working with cancer and radiation patients?Just making them smile. It%u2019s such a blessing to be part of their journey. Seeing their strength and positivity while they%u2019re fighting for their lives is life-changing. I%u2019ve shared hugs and tears with them, and at the end of the day, I know I%u2019ve been given the strength to offer them hope during such a challenging time.How do you balance your career as a hairstylist with your passion for fitness and helping others? I%u2019ve learned the importance of taking time for myself to de-stress. You can%u2019t give positivity and encouragement to others if you%u2019re not mentally and physically balanced yourself.What advice would you give someone starting their fitness journey, especially if they%u2019re facing personal challenges? Take it one day at a time. You%u2019ll have good days and bad days, but staying focused and organized is key to success. Having accountability is also important. And don%u2019t forget the importance of rest%u2014without enough sleep, your body won%u2019t recover, and you won%u2019t achieve your goals.Looking back on your journey, what is the most important lesson you%u2019ve learned about the relationship between fitness and mental health? Be patient and kind to yourself. Self-love is so important, but in fitness, we often feel like we%u2019re not making progress fast enough. We%u2019re our own worst critics.
