I%u2019ve learned a lot in terms of the %u201chospitality industry.%u201dMFM: Do you have a funny/crazy story or thing that happened while working there?AL: The story with Arnold Schwarzenegger and how I had him do pull ups, and Maria was taking a spin class. MFM: You%u2019ve been involved in fitness almost your whole life-was there ever a time when you felt out of shape and had to re-motivate yourself to get back or be healthy again?AL: Yes. The worst time of my life. I had a car accident, and the doctors told me I was going to be paralyzed from the neck down. I got depressed and sad for about a month, wearing an awful neck brace. But after praying and thinking about my life, I just couldn%u2019t give up, so I started doing my own rehab. I didn%u2019t have surgery, and I fixed myself. I am 100% healthy now. Glory to God! MFM: How did you get on Bravo%u2019s Hollywood & Highland competition?AL: A friend of mine told me that Jackie Warner was looking for a trainer. I drove to Hollywood from Rancho Cucamonga, where I was living at that time, and was about an hour late. As soon as Jackie saw me she said %u201cher!%u201d After going through all the exercises and questions, it was a unanimous decision; they picked me :)MFM: You also starred in season 3 of Bravo%u2019s workoutHow did that change things for you?AL: It was a great experience, and I had a lot of fun doing it. Shortly after being on Workout I started training Jamie Foxx. That was an awesome experience. I learned a lot from him. MFM: Would you like to be on-camera or doing more television at some point?AL: I am always on camera. Recently, I went on tour with one of my clients, The Game, and we shot his reality show %u201cShe%u2019s Got Game%u201d on VH1. It was a lot of fun.
