WHAT DO YOU HOPE PEOPLE TAKE AWAY FROM YOUR IMAGES, BOTH IN TERMS OF EMOTION AND STORY? I hope my photographs evoke an aesthetic appreciation in viewers. Perhaps they will see a country from a completely new perspective and become curious about its history. When we look at a portrait, we experience certain emotions that either draw us closer to or distance us from the subject. Those emotions may leave a lasting impression. Other photographers may also find inspiration in my work, just as I am inspired by theirs. WHAT%u2019S NEXT FOR ANNA GORDEICHUK? ARE THERE ANY EXCITING PROJECTS OR FUTURE ASPIRATIONS YOU%u2019RE CURRENTLY WORKING ON THAT YOU%u2019D LIKE TO SHARE? I%u2019m currently working on a project called My UAE, a series of images featuring models in unique locations across the UAE. With this project, I hope to participate in exhibitions. I also dream of traveling to Saudi Arabia.
