MOST MAGAZINE - ISSUE 76 77MOSTMAGAZINEMOST MAGAZINE - ISSUE 75 YOUR WORK EVOKES A SENSE OF CONNECTION WITH YOUR SUBJECTS AND THEIR SURROUNDINGS. WHAT IS YOUR PROCESS FOR MAKING YOUR SUBJECTS FEEL AT EASE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA? As I mentioned earlier, making a person feel relaxed in front of the camera is a challenging skill. I believe every photographer is also somewhat of a psychologist. It%u2019s essential to talk to the model, learn as much as possible about them before the shoot, and find a common wavelength. Social media has also made this process easier, allowing me to get to know my subjects better beforehand. IN A WORLD OF EVER-CHANGING TRENDS, HOW DO YOU STAY TRUE TO YOUR ARTISTIC VOICE WHILE EMBRACING NEW IDEAS AND TECHNIQUES IN YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY? It%u2019s important to stay true to yourself, listen to your heart, and focus on what truly brings you joy. CAN YOU WALK US THROUGH A PARTICULARLY MEMORABLE PHOTOSHOOT THAT CHALLENGED OR INSPIRED YOU IN WAYS YOU HADN%u2019T EXPECTED? One of the most memorable shoots took place near Abu Dhabi in the Al Wathba Fossil Dunes Reserve, which contains over 1,700 fossilized dunes. According to geologists, these natural formations are more than four million years old. We had an incredible team, carefully selected outfits, and professional models, all of which contributed to the success of the shoot. It was published in multiple magazines, and I believe it inspired others to visit this extraordinary location in person.
