However, at the same time, I feel that restrictions on compliance and artistic expression have become more rigid. Another major concern is the risk of having one%u2019s work misused or appropriated without consent.As a creator, I believe it%u2019s essential to communicate the intent behind my work while also establishing systems to protect my rights. Finding a balance between creative freedom and responsibility%u2014while leveraging the benefits of technology%u2014remains a major challenge for the future. Q: WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO ASPIRING PHOTOGRAPHERS?A: I have 10 years of experience as a photographer in Japan.While the joy and excitement of creating never fade, there are always difficult choices and challenges behind the scenes. One of the most valuable lessons I learned as an assistant was the importance of communication with other creators. Hands-on experience teaches things that theory alone cannot, making it an invaluable asset.Today, there are many ways to become a photographer, but ultimately, clients will choose to work with someone they trust. That%u2019s why gaining firsthand experience as an assistant can be a crucial stepping stone. Practical fieldwork builds credibility and adds weight to your future career. Q: WHAT%u2019S NEXT FOR HIRONORI SAKUNAGA?A: I want to continue evolving with the times and creating new work.
