Q: Your transformation is so inspiring! Can you share what first motivated you to begin your fitness journey?A: I had just ended a seven-year relationship during which I didn%u2019t exercise at all. Before that, I played a lot of sports like tennis and volleyball. One morning, after a night out, I walked into a supermarket with mascara smudged under my eyes and saw a Women%u2019s Health magazine. On the cover was a woman with an amazing body, but what truly caught my attention was her energy%u2014her smile, her sparkling eyes. It was like she owned the world! She looked so confident, happy, and radiant.At that moment, I felt like the complete opposite. I wasn%u2019t taking care of myself, I barely ate, and I lived according to everyone else%u2019s opinions. In that magazine, I read that strength training was key to building a toned body. So, the very next day, at 30 years old, I stepped into a gym for the first time. And that%u2019s where my story began! Q: How did the idea for Team Sunshines and the Sunshine Coaching program come to life?A: Great question! I had been strength training for four years when my father was diagnosed with cancer. He passed away after four months. My dad and I didn%u2019t have the best relationship, but when I felt confident and happy, he used to call me %u201cSunshine.%u201d That name became a reflection of how I felt in those moments%u2014joyful, stable, self-assured, and loved.Three months after his passing, I came home one day and told my husband, %u201cHoney, we need to talk about finances. I just quit my high-paying job.%u201d I wanted to help women build sexy, strong bodies that made them shine. I didn%u2019t call them clients; I called them my Sunshines.
