Q: How did your work with S Magazine impact your career?A: Working with S Magazine as a digital contributor and stylist was invaluable. It gave me access to exclusive showrooms and brands and allowed me to style editorials during Tokyo Fashion Week. Collaborating with Lasse Kusk, who was a co-editor of S Magazine, honed my approach to styling and creative direction. He taught me how lighting, angles, and backgrounds affect a look, and offered invaluable insight into running an online publication. We experimented extensively, often shooting projects on location in Japan with models from the local fashion scene.Q: Which designer collaborations have been most memorable for you?A: For designer collaborations, my process is straightforward: contact the brand or PR, arrange a wardrobe pull, and return items afterward. One memorable collaboration was with Boston-based designer Candice Wu. We worked on the styling direction for her collection%u2019s feature in Glamour Bulgaria, which was shot at the luxurious Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston.Q: How have Flying Solo and People%u2019s Revolution PR impacted your career?A: These showrooms were relatively new in 2017 when I was just starting out, and I was fortunate to see their growth. They%u2019re excellent resources for emerging stylists, providing access to designer pieces that can otherwise be challenging to obtain. I%u2019ve built good relationships with some of their team members over the years.Q: What is it like being represented by Artists With Agency?A: Being represented feels like wearing a badge of pride. The agency has been instrumental in expanding my opportunities in both Boston and New York. Working with an agency feels like having co-workers in an %u201cinvisible office,%u201d building strong relationships over time. Joining an artist agency was always a goal, and I%u2019m grateful to be represented by such supportive agents.MOST MAGAZINE - ISSUE 64 43
