                                    Q: What was your educational background in fashion?A: I graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2014 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design. My education taught me how to tell stories through clothing and underscored the importance of self-expression across various mediums, not limited to fashion.Q: How did your experience in Tokyo shape your career?A: Tokyo was incredibly influential on my creative journey. I%u2019d always been drawn to Tokyo%u2019s street fashion scene and its dynamic culture. The city%u2019s edgy and whimsical approach to fashion encouraged me to embrace the avant-garde and experiment. Working there connected me with a range of designers and photographers, including my mentor, Lasse Kusk, a Denmark-based photographer and creative director. Together, we collaborated on numerous test shoots and projects for S Magazine, where I contributed as a stylist. We also had the chance to work with Supima cotton and collaborated with underground celebrities like Hirari Ikeda.Q: Who has been a major influence on your development as a stylist?A: Lasse Kusk, a photographer and creative director, has been tremendously influential. Working with him since 2016 in Tokyo, he taught me how photography plays a central role in fashion storytelling and how styling enhances that narrative. He helped me develop an eye for detail and composition by considering how each look translates on camera.
