MOSTMAGAZINEQ: What inspired you to begin your fitness journey in your 30s?A. When my grandfather passed away, I decided to try boxing since he had done it in his youth. That led to trying kickboxing, Muay Thai, and jiu-jitsu as well. I just decided to start challenging myself. The group of people I was hanging around with at that time were all doing the same thing week after week, and life felt like it was never going anywhere, never advancing. I was tired of the bars and late nights, and I wanted to feel better. I wanted something to be proud of.People think it%u2019s easier than it is. Social media often only shows the fun side of bodybuilding%u2014cheat meals, strong lifts, travel, and beautiful physiques.
