That might seem like a lot, but it%u2019s only 300 extra calories a day. Obesity might increase the risks for pregnancy complications, such as gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia, stillbirth, very-preterm birth and cesarean delivery. Being pregnant is not an excuse to get fat and eat whatever you want and in any amount you want.
