What makes a Cowboys%u2019 cheerleader different from other teams? BJL: It truly is an honor being a part of %u201cAmerica%u2019s Team%u201d-we are America%u2019s Sweethearts. The difference is, you don%u2019t have to know anything about sports and everyone knows of the internationally known Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. It%u2019s the top of the top! I was lucky enough to be on the cover of the calendar and be a part of the show group so the experience was like none other. Plus it has a family feeling to it. The Jones family is absolutely amazing, and I%u2019m still very close to them today.MFM: What is your advice to an aspiring dancer or cheerleader? Any tips to becoming pro? BJL: To be a technically trained dancer first-I started with the San Francisco Ballet Company, then you can migrate to jazz, hip-hop, etc. Ballet is the foundation of all dances! So if you didn%u2019t start young like myself you%u2019d better get your butt in class. I was in class all-day every day, but you should at least go three times a week. If you%u2019re trying out for NFL/NBA teams make sure, not only that can you dance, but also that you know about the sport and the team history! The interview portion of the audition eliminates a lot of girls.MFM: You are the creator and host of the first ever sports show in China-How did that come about? Why China?BJL: Muho TV is exciting for me. A friend of mine wanted to build my brand in China, for obvious reasons. So we came up with the first ever NBA sports show since I could give the Chinese audience something they%u2019ve never seen before. And if you haven%u2019t been to China, the NBA is their favorite sport. They go absolutely nuts for NBA players. Kobe is a GOD there. It%u2019s nice to bring exclusive content to these avid fans!MFM: What has the feedback been like in China
