I mean I%u2019m not a competition dancer anymore, and with work and all, I have less time for it, but I still try to fit in a class or two whenever I get the chance. Once a dancer, always a dancer! It will always be one of my favorite forms of expression.MOSTWhat characteristics of the individuals that you are currently playing do you see in yourself ? How do you get into character?DANIKA Well, with Malina for instance, she%u2019s at an age where she%u2019s rapidly learning things about herself and where she fits in to the world. There are responsibilities to take on at a much larger level and at the same time she%u2019s learning to find a balance between strength, courage, and vulnerability. That%u2019s something with her that I really connect with. The point of acting is to tell the truth at all times, no matter the circumstances.
