Danika says, %u201cShe%u2019s at an age where she%u2019s rapidly learning things about herself and where she fits in to the world. There are responsibilities to take on at a much larger level and at the same time she%u2019s learning to find a balance between strength, courage, and vulnerability.%u201dActing, Danika tells MOST, is about telling the truth. Danika attributes her true passion and understanding for the art to her upbringing. She says, %u201cWell, to be honest, my upbringing has been pretty unorthodox, but I couldn%u2019t be more proud,%u201d she continues on, %u201c[My siblings and I are] all definitely very driven, independent, and supportive of each other and I think that%u2019s something that would translate into any career, really.%u201d But Danika can do more than act. She has a life-long passion for dance. %u201cOnce a dancer, always a dancer! It will always be one of my favorite forms of expression,%u201dshe tells MOST. When asked if there have been on-set dance breaks, Danika responded %u201cHaha, always!%u201dNow that school is starting, those 8:00am wake-ups have us in desperate need of some style tips. So whom does Danika turn to when she is looking for inspiration? Her list includes: Alexa Chung, Aymeline Valade, Jane Birkin, Daria Werbowy, Kristen Stewart, and Cara Delevingne. %u201cI look up to people who are completely unafraid to express themselves freely,%u201d she says. And what do we need to keep on the side of our backpacks for those between-class bathroom runs?
