www.MOSTmag.com || FITNESS MAG A ZINE || 83training session once a week. I am inspired by an elderly obese woman that has the courage to step through the doors of my fitness studio and take her first Ballet Core and More class. The people in our lives with real struggles and real obstacles with limited resources that still change their lives inspire me.FMM: How do you self-motivate?SP: Honestly, I%u2019m not a very motivated person. I own a studio that forces me to work out, and I do what I love. If I have the choice of sleeping in or lifting weights, I will always choose sleeping in. I do however love yoga and have found that I am a lot more motivated doing what I love.FMM: What do you enjoy the most-competing, modeling, or personal training?SP: I hate modeling so let%u2019s throw that one right out of the equation. I only do 2 or 3 photoshoots a year. I only shoot with photographers that I know and have a personal relationship with because at least I get to catch up with an old friend. I only do photoshoot themes that inspire me. I love training my clients, and I love competing about the same. At the age of 42 my competition career is coming to an end and that makes me terribly sad. I have had a good run though.FMM: Favorite place to travel?SP: I just love to travel, anywhere and anytime. I%u2019ve been to Russia and love it; I actually lived there. I%u2019ve been to Costa Rica, and I love the nature. I%u2019ve been all over Europe and the people are fantastic. I%u2019ve traveled all over the U.S. and enjoy the nightlife and restaurants. Travel is important for my soul. It makes me less self-centered and allows me to appreciate what I have.Photo Credit: Noel Daganta | www.ndpictures.com
