HOW DO YOU NAVIGATE TODAY%u2019S DIGITAL LANDSCAPE AS AN ARTIST? It%u2019s a lot to keep up with, and I%u2019ve definitely felt burnt out from it. But I%u2019m currently working on adjusting my perspective to make it feel more fun. Social media can feel like a job, but when I treat it as an extension of my artistry%u2014sharing things I love, showing my personality%u2014it feels more natural. At the end of the day, people connect with people, not just music, so I try to let them in on the journey. MANY OF YOUR SONGS TELL A STORY%u2014WHERE DO YOU FIND INSPIRATION FOR YOUR LYRICS? ARE THEY DRAWN FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCES? Most of them, yes! Even when I try to write something just for fun, it always circles back to something real. But sometimes, I write from a fantasy or a %u201cwhat if%u201d%u2014it%u2019s a mix of reality and storytelling. IF YOU COULD COLLABORATE WITH ANY ARTIST, PAST OR PRESENT, WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY? It would probably be Etta James, Amy Winehouse, or Patsy Cline. They all had such a raw, emotional way of delivering a song%u2014there was no separation between them and the music, and I love their transparency. I%u2019d just want to be in the room with them, watching them create.
