146 || FASHION MAGAZINE || MARCH 2015The story of Hands Up for Haiti begins here: a group of doctors and medical and ancillary personnel traveled to Haiti in order to help with the relief efforts and to provide medical support.Volunteers inundated Port-au-Prince, so the group chose to go north where many refugees and the injured were being sent. Nothing could prepare them for what they witnessed.The group saw %u201cmany displaced people, and many children were suffering post-traumatic stress disorder.
