62 MOST MAGAZINE - ISSUE 68MOSTMAGAZINEQ: How have your Swedish and Cuban roots influenced your perspective on life and your approach to music?A: My Swedish, Finnish, and Cuban roots have profoundly shaped my life and music%u2014not just through heritage but also through my experiences traveling between these cultures from an early age. Born and raised in Sweden, I spent summers in Finland and winters in Cuba. This constant movement exposed me to three distinct and, in many ways, contrasting cultures. It wasn%u2019t always easy to understand and blend these differences, but it made me grow and gave me a heightened awareness of the world. That awareness is what I bring to my music. The melodies, storytelling, and passionate rhythms of Cuba, Sweden, and Finland have all come together to influence my sound. Each culture has taught me something valuable, and it%u2019s that blend%u2014sometimes contrasting but always enriching%u2014that gives my music its unique identity. I%u2019m all about the contrast. I%u2019m grateful for the opportunity to live and embrace such diversity; it%u2019s a gift that continually inspires my music.Q: What role did your time in Milan%u2019s fashion industry play in shaping your creative identity?A: My time modeling in Milan was a transformative break from music that still kept me connected to art and culture. After pushing so hard in music without seeing the growth I wanted, Milan offered a fresh perspective. Immersing myself in fashion sharpened my taste and elevated my aesthetic%u2014from understanding fabrics and colors to appreciating the artistry behind it all. This experience boosted my confidence and helped me refine how I present myself, both visually and musically. While I%u2019ve explored different creative paths, I always circle back to my original vision%u2014now more elevated and refined. Milan taught me that art takes many forms, and those lessons continue to enrich my music.Exclusive Interview
