Q: Was there a specific moment when you knew photography would be more than just a hobby?A: I%u2019ve always been drawn to finding beauty in simplicity. A minimalist photograph can convey profound emotion. Additionally, I tend to shy away from overly elaborate staging%u2014I prefer to compose and capture moments without artifice, much like a reportage photographer. My spontaneous and pragmatic nature naturally shaped this approach, giving my work a distinctive, stripped-down aesthetic.Q: ou%u2019ve been inspired by iconic photographers. What have you drawn from their work, and how have you made it your own?A: I admire many legendary photographers, most of whom are no longer with us but continue to inspire through their timeless work. I aim to freeze the present moment, transforming it into something immortal, much like my idols did.Q: What do you hope to convey through your photographs? Is there a message or emotion you aim to evoke in every viewer?A: As with any photographer, my work is a reflection of myself. Regardless of the subject, I believe every image contains a subtle self-portrait of the artist. Through my photographs, I aim to express my perspective and evoke emotions that resonate with others. At its core, my goal is to exist in the eyes of others through my art.Q: Many of your images highlight a deep connection with human emotion. How do you bring out such authenticity in your subjects?A: I guide and direct my subjects to express their unique emotions and character. The second half of the process%u2014selecting the final images%u2014is equally important. I carefully choose the photographs that feel the most authentic to me. In the end, it might be my own authenticity that comes through!Q: Can you share a memorable experience or collaboration that deeply impacted your photography career?A: Rather than a single standout experience, I see each project and collaboration as an opportunity for growth and self-reflection. Every moment contributes to my evolution as an artist, and I%u2019m always looking for ways to improve and push my boundaries.MOST MAGAZINE - ISSUE 66 31
