Q: As someone who started competing in bodybuilding at 40, what advice would you give to other women considering taking on a similar challenge later in life?A: You are never too old to start believing in yourself. Change can be good, and what you learn%u2014not just about your body but about yourself mentally%u2014can be incredibly rewarding.Q: You%u2019ve had a lifetime of athletic achievements in multiple fields. How has your definition of success evolved as you%u2019ve progressed in your bodybuilding journey?A: My success is unique to me, based on my personal experiences and goals. I don%u2019t feel that my definition of success has changed; instead, the way I go about achieving it has evolved.Q: Looking ahead, what%u2019s next for you in your fitness and competitive career, and how do you see your journey continuing to unfold in the coming years?A: My fitness goal is to continue working hard to bring my very best package and to outdo my previous self every time I step on stage. I look forward to competing at the pro level one day, and I don%u2019t see this journey ending anytime soon.As for my life goals, I aim to keep balancing my ambitions while being a loving wife to my husband and a supportive mom to my two boys. My family is my rock! We are an active family involved in a variety of sports, including car racing, karting, football, basketball, baseball, and, of course, bodybuilding. On top of that, I am an active volunteer at the schools my sons attend, all while holding a high-level position at my company. Anything is possible when you have the right people in your corner and a strong mindset.Instagram Link: @lesliedurst01Facebook: www.facebook.com/leslie.meadedurstYou are never too old to start believing in your- self.
