Born in Havana in 1973, Oscar discovered at a very young age that fashion was his calling. Even as a child growing up in a country with scarce resources, he found ways to express his artistic vision, a vision that has since captivated some of the most elite circles in the fashion world. At just 12 years old, Oscar crafted his first dress%u2014not with high-end fabrics, but using his mother%u2019s old curtains. It was a resourceful, yet symbolic start to a career that would be defined by both ingenuity and artistry. With limited materials available on the island, Oscar didn%u2019t just create garments; he had to make the tools needed to construct them.
