Q: What inspired you to compete for the Miss Asia USA title?Exclusive InterviewQ: How does it feel to be the first Taiwanese to win the Miss Asia USA title?A: My inspiration for competing in Miss Asia USA was deeply rooted in my heritage and the desire to represent the Taiwanese community on a larger platform. I wanted to showcase the beauty of our culture while also highlighting causes I care deeply about, such as combating AAPI hate, promoting maternal health, and advocating for mental wellness. The opportunity to use my voice to empower others, especially women in STEM and pageantry, pushed me to step out of my comfort zone and compete.I wanted to showcase the beauty of our culture while highlighting important causes that I care about. with strength and conviction. I feel immense pride in paving the way for others in the Taiwanese community, and I hope my journey inspires people to break through barriers in whichever field they are passionate about.Q: Can you tell us more about your major at Stan- ford and what drew you to Engineering Management and Human-Centered Design?A: At Stanford, I%u2019m pursuing a self-designed major in Engineering Management & Human-Centered Design. I was drawn to this field because it combines my passion for innovation with a focus on people-centered problem-solving.
