                                    2024 Miss Asia USATiffany Chang Tiffany Chang is a trailblazer and advocate, currently holding the title of 2024 Miss Asia USA, making history as the first Taiwanese to achieve this honor. Her victory in the pageant is not only a personal milestone but a symbol of breaking barriers and amplifying underrepresented voices, especially for the Taiwanese and broader AAPI communities. Tiffany%u2019s platform goes beyond the traditional pageant roles, as she uses her voice to raise awareness about crucial issues such as AAPI hate, mental wellness, and maternal health.A junior at Stanford University, Tiffany is pursuing a self-designed major in Engineering Management and Human-Centered Design. Her interdisciplinary studies merge her passion for technology and innovation with a deep commitment to people-centered problem-solving. She hopes to use her background to develop solutions that have a tangible impact, especially for underrepresented communities. Tiffany is a strong advocate for women in STEM, and she consistently encourages young girls to explore careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, reminding them that their unique perspectives are their greatest strengths.In addition to her academic and pageantry pursuits, Tiffany is the founder of Madhatter Knits, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving maternal and child health worldwide. Through the organization, she and her team create awareness and provide support for women and children in underserved communities. One of Madhatter Knits%u2019 key initiatives is the donation of thousands of handmade knit hats to premature babies in neonatal intensive care units across the globe, helping to prevent hypothermia and associated complications in vulnerable newborns. This initiative spans countries like Sri Lanka, South Africa, India, and Ecuador, with the mission of bridging gaps in maternal care and raising awareness about these critical health issues.Tiffany%u2019s journey of self-discovery has played a pivotal role in shaping her advocacy work. Having grown up feeling silenced due to cultural expectations and discrimination, she now embraces her heritage and identity fully, using her platform to inspire others to do the same. Her mission is to create safe and empowering spaces for young women, encouraging them to embrace their self-worth and confidently step into their power. She hopes to show others that empowerment comes from within and that every voice, no matter how small, has the ability to make a meaningful difference.Balancing her roles as Miss Asia USA, a Stanford student, and a nonprofit founder requires discipline, time management, and resilience.
