How do you approach the depiction of the interaction between feminine and masculine energies in your work?I view them as interconnected and ultimately unified. While they are distinct, with feminine energy embodying the mother, water, moon, and qualities of flow and nurturing, and masculine energy symbolizing the father, sun, and cooler, blue hues, they coexist harmoniously. I represent these energies as separate yet converging into one, reflecting their presence in the universe, our bodies, the Earth, and even the changing seasons. By understanding these energies and their interactions, we gain insight into how they influence and shape our world. This duality and unity are central themes in my art, illustrating the balance and harmony inherent in nature and existence. What inspired you to open The Messengers Art Gallery in Santa Monica and how did you come up with its name?I was inspired by what I felt was a call from the Universe. Someone approached me and suggested that I open a gallery, and everything around me seemed to align perfectly with this idea. The Universe supported me by sending the right people to help make it happen, from finding the artists to assembling the right team. I see it as a blessing and a natural extension of who I am. It felt like I was a vessel for this greater purpose. The name of the gallery stems from my belief that artists are messengers of the divine. Artists create from a deep connection to the divine, channeling creative energy from God into the world. They bring beauty and messages that enhance our lives and connect us to something greater. For me, the gallery represents this sacred role of artists, who make the world more beautiful and convey profound messages through their work.12 MOST MAGAZINE - ISSUE 55
