Q: What makeup products do you swear by for a glowing look? A: I%u2019ve been loving the Dibs bronzing glow sticks! I also love Charlotte Tilbury%u2019s bright blush. Those two brands are my go-tos for my face, along with my favorite foundation that I%u2019ve been using for seven years%u2014IT Cosmetics CC Cream!Q: How do you approach interior design in your own space? A: I%u2019m a Pinterest WHORE. I pin and pin and pin until I%u2019ve been inspired enough to create something new in my space. I don%u2019t love copy-pasting what I see online; instead, I use it as inspiration to create something that is completely me and my own.Q: What are some tips for maintaining a healthy relationship? A: As clich%u00e9 as it sounds, communication and empathy are key. I%u2019m not quick to anger, but when I do get irritated, I first try to understand why my partner might be acting a certain way or treating me in a way I don%u2019t like. For instance, if they%u2019re on their phone a lot or not getting something done that I asked, I remind myself they might be swamped with work. Empathizing solves 90% of the issues, and the rest is handled by just talking it out. Also, having a partner who%u2019s your best friend, someone you want to do everything with and share everything with, really makes a difference.Q: What has been the most rewarding part of your career so far? A: Honestly, every time a new person enters Subtle Haus and says, %u201cWow, this is beautiful,%u201d it makes all the hard work seem worth it. But for a specific situation: we recently hosted a National Wine Day event for Wines of Sicily, sponsored by the DOC of Sicily. It was the most beautiful event I%u2019ve ever been to yet. Having such a wonderful night full of Chicago creatives for an amazing brand in a space that I made was rewarding, to say the least.Q: What are your long-term goals for Subtle Haus? A: While we are currently focused on the Chicago market, I envision Subtle Haus expanding to multiple locations in the future. I want Subtle Haus to be top of mind and well-known globally for its impact on the creative industry and its role in nurturing talent.Q: Can you share a memorable story from your time on The Bachelor? A: All the best memories happened when we were just chilling with no cameras. Every girl who ends up on the show is so amazing and fun, and it was just great to hang out like normal in the midst of craziness. My favorite memory is when we had so much downtime while filming Paradise. I was in the all-girls %u201cbunk%u201d room, and we were all singing Hannah Montana and other Disney songs and just dancing around. It felt like a middle school slumber party and was so much fun. Then we went on to film until 7 am, which was not as much fun, haha.74 MOST MAGAZINE - ISSUE 52
