Q: How did it feel to raise money for the Chicago Women%u2019s Shelter through Subtle Haus?A: At Subtle Haus, we love mixing things up with special events alongside our regular membership activities. One idea that really took off was a closet sale. It was a great way to invite people into our space and offer some fantastic deals on clothes. Since our space is a bit tight, we decided to use tickets for the event. I also wanted to make sure the proceeds went to a great cause. After all, what%u2019s better than scoring deals while supporting something meaningful? For this female-focused event, I chose to donate the proceeds to the Chicago Women%u2019s Shelter. They do incredible work helping women and children in need, and having grown up with a mom who worked (and still works) for a non-profit, I really appreciate how much these donations can mean. It felt amazing to raise money for such a deserving cause. I hope we can keep hosting these fun, community-driven events that give back to our Chicago community.Q: What are some of your favorite features of Subtle Haus? A: I love helping professionals, creatives, and small businesses bring their dreams to life. Whether it%u2019s using our complimentary photography for a brand shoot, brainstorming podcast names with me, or hosting a unique event for an amazing brand, I just love getting my creative gears going and assisting those who need it! On top of that, the space itself is beautiful. Every day when I walk in, I%u2019m like, %u201cWow - I can%u2019t believe I made this and now I get to run this place.%u201d It%u2019s really special.Q:Can you share your journey from being a Bachelor contestant to becoming an influencer? A: I think it%u2019s been a pretty natural progression, haha. My background in creative copywriting and managing social media for major brands definitely made the transition smoother. It also gave me the confidence to %u201cfake it until I made it%u201d %u2014 I started posting like an influencer until I became one. That%u2019s my advice for anyone who wants to start.Q: How did you and Chris Bukowski meet and start your relationship off-screen? A: We were actually introduced by mutual friends Serena and Joe, who are also from the show. I was friends with Serena and was chatting with her on the phone about boy problems and wanting to find someone (which I guess she had on speakerphone so Joe was listening in). Later that night, Joe was grabbing drinks with Chris, and I guess Chris was also talking about wanting to find someone. Joe had a lightbulb moment and set us up! It was like a blind date, but one where you%u2019ve both seen each other on TV before, haha.Q: What are your top fashion must-haves for the fall?A: I think fall is going to be about balancing opposites%u2014think big chunky sweaters paired with sheer skirts, fur collars, cropped wide peacoats, elongated east-west clutches, and really cool beaded evening bags! I%u2019m so ready for it.72 MOST MAGAZINE - ISSUE 52
