Q: Do you have any specific pre-competition diet strategies that you follow?A: For me, nutrition isn%u2019t just about pre-competition prep%u2014it%u2019s a year-round commitment. Staying on track with a disciplined diet regimen ensures that I maintain shape and conditioning consistently, making the transition to competition mode smoother. By keeping body fat levels in check throughout the year, I minimize the need for drastic measures before a show, allowing me to focus more on fine-tuning and making necessary improvements.When it comes to my diet, I%u2019m all about vibrant, nutrient-packed greens and colorful veggies%u2014they%u2019re the stars of almost every meal! Romaine lettuce, asparagus, broccolini, and bell peppers are my go-to favorites. And when my sweet tooth strikes, I%u2019ve got a few tricks up my sleeve: flavored sparkling water, a refreshing sugar-free jello treat, and my trusty liquid stevia come to the rescue. Let%u2019s just say the early coaches I worked with didn%u2019t exactly help%u2014they didn%u2019t really get the unique needs of the female body.But then I found the right coach, someone who really knew their stuff and had an eagle eye for detail. With their guidance, we made all the right tweaks and adjustments.
