                                    Exclusive InterviewQ: Can you tell us about your journey into the fitness world and what inspired you to pursue it professionally?I used to love reading fitness magazines like Oxygen and Muscle Mag. Women like Monica Brant and Jenny Worth were so beautiful and inspiring. It was strong, successful women like them that gave me the courage to pursue my dream of being a professional competitor and fitness model.Q: What do you enjoy most about competing in the IFBB?What I find most rewarding is the ability to push through perceived limitations. Consistently improving from one show to the next and overcoming obstacles is very empowering. I have learned so much about the power of the mind and intention. I have learned how to transform my body and take charge of my mental and physical health. It has been a deep personal evolution for me, and the rewards have carried over to all aspects of my life.Q: What%u2019s your favorite pose, and why?As a figure competitor, we do quarter turns as well as our individual presentations. I love doing my presentation as it%u2019s an opportunity to tailor some of the poses to showcase my individuality. My overall favorite is my back pose. It used to be my weakest pose, but I have worked so hard to make it one of my stronger poses. I love to showcase my hard work.Q: What does a typical training day look like for you?During the growth season, I usually spend about 45 minutes to an hour training, followed by 30 minutes of cardio. During contest prep, I also do fasted cardio in the mornings. When I have time, I like to catch a yoga or a spin class as well. I usually aim for one or two classes a week if possible. Whenever possible, I try to get outside for cardio and hike as well.Q: What are your favorite exercises for building muscle mass?I have learned to love all things legs! It has been a love-hate relationship on and off, but when the results start to show, it%u2019s all love.
