Q: What%u2019s the best fitness advice that you%u2019ve ever received? The best fitness advice I%u2019ve ever received was actually from a speech that Ray Lewis gave to the Stanford University Football team in the 2012 Pre-Game NIT SemiFinals. I was working as the Fitness Director at Stanford University at the time, and his speech hit me to the core. The specific quote that I will never forget: %u201c%u2026 Every day is a new day. Every moment is a new moment. So go out there and show them that you are a different creature now than you were five minutes ago!...%u201d I love this quote, because people often think that they have to accept a current reality. For example, I wasn%u2019t even close to where I wanted to be when I first started out in the sport of bodybuilding; however, I am 100% a %u201cdifferent creature%u201d now than I was then%u2026 And that is why Ray Lewis%u2019s words hit just as deep now as they did when I first heard them!Q: What do you love most about your body? What I love most is my overall confidence in my shape. I am very proud of what I have created. I love to dress up and love fashion!Q: What Type of Exercise Do You Enjoy the Most? Ironically, I enjoy the type of exercise that I DON%u2019T enjoy the most %u2013 because that is the stuff that gets results.Q: What%u2019s your favorite guilty pleasure food when you aren%u2019t training? I%u2019m Italian, and my absolute favorite thing to eat when I splurge is fresh French Bread straight from the oven dipped in homemade meat marinara sauce! So good!Q: Do you have any recovery rituals? I do a lot to recover! I have a lot of massage products, as well as LED light therapy, TENS therapy, ice sleeves, and I could go on! Recovery is a huge component to making sure you are moving forward and achieving results. The one thing that will always halt results is an injury. Remaining injury-free is always the key to success!Q: What skill are you working on mastering now?Right now, I am working a lot in the media. I work as a Media Personality for Olympia TV, as well as for WOLFpak TV. I have the opportunity to interview some of the top fitness celebrities, as well as produce content and live television. I am always working to master my craft in the media.Q: How do you stay motivated and stay on track? At this point, I am in %u201cauto-mode%u201d. The good news is that once you solidify something in your life as an integral component, it becomes very hard to take it out. Someone would have to motivate me to take a break from my lifestyle; which will never happen! Q: What%u2019s on the horizon for you?On the horizon, I plan to pursue my career working in the media. I will continue to help grow and develop the brand WOLFpak, and this is currently my main home and family to thrive in. Stay tuned for what we have in store! It will be EPIC!!!MOST MAGAZINE - ISSUE 44 15
