From Alicia Key%u2019s geometric blazer on the Ellen Show to Carrie Underwood%u2019s show stopping number on the Grammy red carpet, is there a particular celebrity you would love to dress and what is it about their sense of style that speaks to you?There are a lot of beautiful women, but we are drawn more to women that have an innate sense of self and style, regardless of them being a celebrity or not. It%u2019s very flattering for someone to want to wear GomezGracia, as many brands are readily available. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to dress someone who understands what we are doing and looks beautiful in Gomez-Gracia.Let%u2019s talk about the work, you have said that you start 5 to 6 months in advance to prepare for a line/show. Walk us through this process, what%u2019s happening during this time frame? Is it a stressful time or do you embrace the challenge with quiet steel determination?I begin by finding fabrics that inspire me, then I design around them, but still needing to make a collection that is cohesive. The fabrics can be quite different so finding a unifying theme can be challenging. During this time, we see concepts become actual garments. It%u2019s a process. The design is given to a pattern cutter, who is someone who needs to understand the handwriting of the brand in order to cut a pattern with lines that reflect our vision. We then go through a stage of mocking up that garment in
