MOST MAGAZINE - ISSUE 76 29MOSTMAGAZINEMOST MAGAZINE - ISSUE 75 SPEAKING OF ROGUES%u2019 GALLERY, WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO DIVE INTO WRITING AND EXPLORE THE DARKER SIDE OF FAME? I%u2019ve always loved storytelling, and writing felt like a natural evolution of my career. Rogues%u2019 Gallery was born from my fascination with the dark side of fame%u2014how obsession, entitlement, and fandom can blur into something more sinister. I wanted to explore those themes through a darkly satirical, high-stakes thriller that reflects both the glamour and the chaos of celebrity culture. WHAT%u2019S YOUR CREATIVE PROCESS LIKE WHEN WRITING VERSUS ACTING? Acting and writing tap into different creative muscles for me. When I%u2019m acting, I%u2019m bringing someone else%u2019s vision to life, making sure I do justice to their story. Writing, on the other hand, is deeply introspective%u2014it%u2019s just me, alone in my office, world-building, crafting narratives, and shaping characters from the ground up. It%u2019s a longer, more solitary process, but one where I have complete creative freedom. WHO ARE SOME ACTORS OR FILMMAKERS YOU%u2019D LOVE TO COLLABORATE WITH IN THE FUTURE? Oh my gosh, the list is long%u2014too long to name just a few! There%u2019s so much incredible Irish talent making waves in Hollywood right now, both in front of and behind the camera. I%u2019d love to shoot something back home in Ireland with some of them. Any excuse to go home is a good one, and it would be such a full-circle moment to work on a project that highlights Irish storytelling. YOU%u2019VE WORKED IN SCI-FI, DRAMA, AND COMEDY. DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE GENRE TO WORK IN?I love bouncing between genres because each one challenges me in different ways, but I always get excited when a comedy opportunity comes along%u2014there%u2019s nothing like making people laugh. That said, I%u2019ve yet to act in a horror film. I%u2019d love to dive into that genre next, especially since I%u2019ve been writing a lot in that space.
