Being part of family-friendly content is important, and I think audiences look for an outlet that allows them to feel connected to something uplifting, especially in a world where that can sometimes be hard to find. The magic lives in the heartwarming stories and the kind, passionate people who bring them to life. Q: YOU%u2019VE PLAYED EVERYTHING FROM ROMANTIC LEADS TO THRILLERS AND COMEDIES. IS THERE A GENRE OR ROLE YOU HAVEN%u2019T TACKLED YET BUT WOULD LOVE TO?A: I%u2019d love to do a dark indie comedy%u2014something that people can relate to but also pushes boundaries. My favorite kinds of movies are those that make you feel deeply and leave you inspired about your own life. Q: DATE MY DAD WAS A FUN DEPARTURE INTO COMEDY. HOW WAS IT WORKING WITH BARRY WATSON AND THE LATE RAQUEL WELCH?A: Making Date My Dad was one of the most fun experiences I%u2019ve ever had on set. Every day was better than the last, and I was really sad when it ended. Raquel Welch was Hollywood royalty. Our characters didn%u2019t interact much in the show, but the few times they did, I truly enjoyed being in her company. Barry is a grounded, hilarious, and talented actor. I loved working with him so closely because he really cares about his craft and always strives to make everything the best it can be. Q: YOU%u2019VE GUEST-STARRED ON CULT FAVORITES LIKE SUPERNATURAL, PSYCH, AND THE VAMPIRE DIARIES. WHICH GUEST ROLE SURPRISED YOU THE MOST?A: When I booked The Vampire Diaries, I had no idea it would become the massive hit that it did, so that was a wonderful surprise. I%u2019m still incredibly grateful to have been in the opening scene of such an iconic show. Q: YOUR CAREER HAS TAKEN YOU AROUND THE WORLD, INCLUDING FILMING IN ROMANIA FOR ROYAL HEARTS. WHAT%u2019S BEEN YOUR FAVORITE FILMING LOCATION SO FAR?A: Romania was extra special because it was my first time traveling to Europe. When I finished shooting, I stayed for a two-week exploration trip, which made it even more memorable. I also had the chance to work in Brisbane, Australia, in 2019, and I absolutely loved it.
