YOU%u2019VE PLAYED A WIDE RANGE OF ROLES%u2014FROM HBO%u2019S EUPHORIA TO TALL TALES OF JIM BRIDGER. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR SUCH DIVERSE CHARACTERS?Each role requires its own unique approach, so I can%u2019t say I have one method for all jobs. I always start by diving into the character%u2019s background and motivations. My preparation process also depends very much on how much time I have. If I have enough time, I%u2019ll dive into extensive research, work on dialects, and observe people with similar experiences. For Tall Tales of Jim Bridger, which was a Western historical drama, I focused on studying the era and its context. But if time is limited, I focus on key aspects%u2014finding the emotional core of the character and working instinctively to bring them to life. I believe the key is staying adaptable and collaborating with the director%u2019s vision. WHICH PROJECT OR ROLE HAS BEEN THE MOST CHALLENGING OR REWARDING FOR YOU, AND WHY?My most challenging and rewarding project so far was my last movie, Married to the Assassin, where I played the lead character. It was an exciting experience but also physically demanding, as I had to learn stunt routines and maintain high energy and focus during 12-hour shoot days. Playing a lead role was a big responsibility, and though I didn%u2019t have much time to prepare, I worked closely with our director, Marielle Woods, who was amazing%u2014so easy to work with and incredibly compassionate. The entire process was challenging but so fulfilling, thanks to the amazing people I got to work with.WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO TRANSITION FROM PURSUING A LEGAL CAREER TO BECOMING AN ACTRESS AND MODEL?Despite coming from a very business-oriented family, I%u2019ve always been artistic. Even though I listened to my mom and chose a %u201csecure%u201d path, I never stopped making art, painting, and doing theater. When I came to the U.S. and accidentally had the chance to be on a movie set, I immediately realized that there was nowhere else I wanted to be. The atmosphere, the energy, and the creative people bringing stories to life%u2014it was exactly where I knew I belonged. So my %u201ctransition%u201d came naturally as a quick decision that felt so right I didn%u2019t even give it a second thought.Photographer: @narbehkhodaverdi MOST MAGAZINE - ISSUE 70 65MOSTMAGAZINE
