MOST MAGAZINE - ISSUE 68 27Q: What do you find most rewarding about capturing moments through your own lens compared to retouching others%u2019 work?A: For me, the most rewarding aspect of photography is collaborating with like-minded individuals and working on creative projects together. There%u2019s something magical about being inspired by others%u2019 visions and working seamlessly as a team to achieve a shared goal. Capturing moments on set allows me to create my own unique universe and fleeting instances. It%u2019s incredibly fulfilling to articulate my creative vision while trusting and guiding my collaborators through the process. Being present in the moment is what makes photography so special to me%u2014it%u2019s far more meaningful than sitting at a computer retouching images or listening to music.Q: What challenges did you face when transitioning from a career in design to a focus on photography, and how did you overcome them?A: There were many challenges. At 27, I felt like I was behind and needed to catch up. During my early years, I held a 9-to-5 job and spent my evenings from 7 PM to midnight honing my photography skills. This schedule was tough on my health and social life, but I stayed motivated to bring my vision to life. One of my biggest sources of support was a German photographer who became my mentor. His guidance reshaped my perspective, helped me refine my artistic vision, and provided the foundation for my photography today.MOSTMAGAZINEQ: How would you describe your artistic vision and the themes you strive to explore in your photography?A: As my mentor once said, depth and dimension are crucial in photography. I would describe myself as a self-portrait and fashion photographer. I%u2019m drawn to capturing emotions and expressions%u2014particularly those moments of aggression or melancholy%u2014that people convey through their attire and demeanor. Portraiture has always been the central element of my work. My goal is to present individuals in front of their clothing, emphasizing their personalities rather than physical attributes.MOST MAGAZINE - ISSUE 68 27
