A combination of his natural talents and education create an impressive list of artistic gifts. He dances tap, contemporary, ballet, jazz and hip hop. Even with all of his skills and experience, when he has free time he tries to continue to take voice and dance lessons. When asked if he has any ideas to create a project with a dance form not seen regularly, he replied, %u201cI love to think outside of the box and challenge myself to create something original and unique. My goal is to move and inspire people through dance.%u201d tepping beyond dancing, he also choreographs, sings and writes music. Cooper co-wrote the song Hypnotized and starred in the music video with Rachele Brook Smith. Lest he be pigeon-holed, Cooper also is an award winning book narrator. Through a friend he had the opportunity to audition at Random House Audio. He was selected to narrate the children%u2019s book Neversink, written by Barry Wolverton. This narration won him the Earphones Award from AudioFile Magazine.Accepting the narration job was more than just the simplicity of reading a children%u2019s book. Cooper shared he is dyslexic, which makes reading a struggle and reading aloud a true challenge. Clearly this was a challenge he mastered. He has gone on to narrate several more books and he is proud to say that it gets easier each time. Proof that he has mastered narration is evident in his selection to narrate the book Silent House. Silent House was written by Orhan Pamuk, who in 2006, received the Noble Prize in Literature.When asked which among his talents is his favorite, it was hard for him to select one, as he feels so passionate for all of them. Cooper said, %u201cWhat you could say is that I have a passion to create.%u201d Currently he is focusing on acting and feels lucky to be in a career that he is passionate about. The number of movies Cooper has acted in is approaching a dozen. In most of these he has been the lead but I am sure in Mamma Mia he had no problem deferring to Meryl Streep. He has also appeared in at least a dozen TV shows both in Britain and America. He has successfully made it %u201cacross the pond.%u201d MOST asked how Parting Shot was made. The 48 Hour Film Festival program, Make Your Mark, is a competition to make a short film in forty eight hours. Parting Shot was such a film. Cooper was asked by his dear friend and actress Tehmina Sunny, if he wanted to help. The next day they were filming Parting Shot. He said he had wanted to work with Sunny since he first met here so he was happy to collaborate on the Make Your Mark project. They had forty eight hours to write, act, edit and complete the filming. They not only completed their film within the time allowance, but they made it into the top ten films screened in Los Angeles. nother of Cooper%u2019s projects was the lead in the movie Kushuthara: Pattern of Love. This movie was filmed in the kingdom of Bhutan. This Asian country holds tightly to its traditional Buddhist lifestyle. Cooper was the first Western actor to star in a Bhutanese feature film and was honored by the opportunity. He described the experience of making the movie as, %u201clife changing.%u201d He was able to see a very different lifestyle, nothing that compares to the hyper activity of the entertainment world.
