www.MOSTmag.com || FASHIO N MAG A ZINE || 201and a number of fashion blogs. I was interviewed three times by radio stations, including Premier Russian Radio, which is for all Russian-speaking populations in the United States and Canada. I am also part of the cast of the documentary %u201cEmerging%u201d that is coming out in 2015. I also promote my line with the website that I designed and maintain myself: www.tatianashabelnik.com Social media plays an important role in promoting my brand. I have two Facebook pages: one for my clothing line, and another for T & R Accessories, a jewelry company that I founded together with my friend, Rebecca Zimberlin, in 2014. Video coverage of my collection at L.A. Fashion Week (March 2014) and Orange County Fashion Week (September 2014) is available on Vimeo channel: http://vimeo.com/93560427 http://vimeo.com/106306100FMM: How do you prepare yourself for the fashion shoot or show and what%u2019s the average number you do for each per year?T.S: As I already mentioned, I had three photo shoots for my current collection %u201cCONTRAST%u201d. For the first photo shoot I casted the models together with my stylist, and hired a make-up artist. For the second two editorial photo shoots Viktorija Pashuta handled everything. I sent her images of the collection that I already had and she helped to identify which ones we were going to photograph, what could be submitted to fashion magazines and she arranged all the models and make up. I also had my teacher, Angelica Itomura from Downey Make-up Academy (I took a ten-week bridal makeup class with her) bring her team to help with hair and make-up. Since June 2013 I produced six fashion shows. I have done most of the work myself starting with hiring stylists, choreographers, casting models, selecting all the music, editing the music, arranging a crew to work back stage, bringing photographers and videographers, inviting all the guests/buyers. I basically handled every single detail. My fashion shows are not a straight runway but a merge of dance, choreography and fashion. That takes much more time to prepare than a regular runway show. FMM: What should we expect from your design in 2015? T.S: What to expect? How about a surprise? There will be more of CONTRAST in leather garments, and quite a few avant-garde and flowing long dresses. I have always believed that fashion and style can change the way people feel about themselves and how they perceive others.
