What do you find most challenging and exciting about balancing your roles as an entrepreneur, athlete, philanthropist, and mom?I don%u2019t believe in perfect balance. You do the best you can in the moment. Sometimes I%u2019m a better mom, sometimes I%u2019m a better businesswoman. There%u2019s a lot of give and take, and sacrifices are inevitable. For me, it%u2019s important that my son understands it%u2019s okay for me to have a purpose beyond just being his mom. I want him to know that I have my own life with friends, hobbies, and interests. It doesn%u2019t mean I love him any less. In fact, I%u2019m a better mom when I%u2019m busy and working out consistently.Time management is key. I always plan ahead, whether it%u2019s gym time, practice for my son, or scheduling %u201cme time.%u201d Multitasking is one of my strengths, but I%u2019m working on being more present in the moment instead of always checking my phone. How does your charitable work through the McDowell-Levin Charitable Giving Fund align with your personal values? We are involved in an anti-human trafficking organization, which is a cause that needs as much awareness as possible. We also support cancer foundations, medical institutions, universities, and art museums in New York City. We believe that health and education are fundamental for everyone. We%u2019ve been blessed, and I believe that if we%u2019re in a position to give back, that%u2019s what God calls us to do.What drew you to pursue a second BFA in Interior Design at Belmont University, and how does it complement your work in real estate development?I%u2019ve always been creative and loved fine arts, fashion, photography, and design. Interior design is the perfect combination of art and style, and it aligns with my passion for residential real estate. Being back in school keeps my brain sharp, and I love being around younger students and learning from professors. You can never stop learning, and design school has helped me with my personal development projects in the Southwest and Nashville. How has your experience in marketing and consulting in the food, beverage, and luxury goods industries shaped your entrepreneurial ventures today?I love hospitality, and to this day, one of my favorite jobs was working as a waitress and bartender. It taught me prioritization, organization, and how to handle different types of customers. Hospitality teaches you to be a servant, which is an important skill for young adults. What advice would you give to aspiring female entrepreneurs looking to break into diverse industries like fitness, real estate, and product development?Find what you%u2019re passionate about. If you%u2019re not thrilled by it, it%u2019s going to be hard to succeed as an entrepreneur. No one will care about your business as much as you do, so sometimes you%u2019ll only be able to depend on yourself. In fitness, consistency is key. Bodybuilding improves other areas of my life, but it%u2019s not my whole world. To see results, you need patience, consistency, and a good coach. It%u2019s easy to lose perspective when you%u2019re looking at yourself every day, so a coach helps provide a clear plan and an objective opinion. How do you manage to maintain a healthy work-life balance while juggling so many demanding roles? My workouts are non-negotiable. Even if I%u2019m not feeling 100%, I still go to the gym and do something. My family and friends know that working out is as essential to me as showering or brushing my teeth. Sleep is also a priority. I%u2019m known to leave parties or dinners early to make sure I get enough rest because I don%u2019t perform well without sleep. How has your family, especially your son, influenced the choices you%u2019ve made in both your personal and professional life?I want my son, Jayger, to learn that nothing truly rewarding comes easily. It takes work, effort, patience, and a clear vision. The joy is in the journey and the process. I want him to understand that life is challenging, but we%u2019re not alone%u2014God is our guide, and it%u2019s important to ask for help when needed. He inspires me to be the best mom, woman, wife, and person I can be.56 MOST MAGAZINE - ISSUE 58
