Q: How did you transition from acting into television hosting and producing?A: I%u2019ve always been a host%u2014it%u2019s my first love! TV hosting, red carpet interviews, and my media work have always been my bread and butter. The transition to film producing was a labor of love. A friend sent me a script and planted the seed, wanting me to work on it as a producer. After seeing my work in a different environment, she inspired me to make the switch. Seeing %u201cP.G.A.%u201d after my name in the credits or on a pitch deck is very rewarding.Q: What are some of the most rewarding aspects of being a film producer?A: I love working with talent and mediating between talent and management. Problem-solving on set is another favorite of mine. If I can%u2019t solve an issue, I find someone who can. Producing covers a wide range of production challenges, and I enjoy the variety of obstacles I face on any given day.Q: How do you balance acting, hosting, and producing? Do you have a preference?A: As a multi-hyphenate, I take it day by day. I love TV hosting and working with a teleprompter, but modeling in my thirties has been more lucrative for me. I%u2019ve found a solid client list and network that keeps me thriving. Everything happens in divine timing.Q: What do you consider your most significant career milestone so far?A: The fact that I%u2019ve been working steadily in entertainment for 15 years is a significant achievement. I%u2019ve endured three major strikes and the challenges of COVID, but those setbacks only made my goals more potent.Q: What was your favorite event to cover as a host for UFC Fight Pass and Matchroom Boxing?A: I loved being a ring girl, and I was scouted at Madison Square Garden during a boxing match for Top Rank. The producers of Southpaw, directed by Antoine Fuqua, hired me through that connection. It was an incredible job.Q: What has been your strategy for staying relevant in such a competitive industry?A: Relevance isn%u2019t something I focus on. I follow my heart and my passions, ensuring I keep food on the table and stay true to myself. I do enjoy changing my look, experimenting with different hairstyles and fashion for events. Recently, I%u2019ve been favoring Alexander McQueen and Carolina Herrera.Q: How did you develop your Snapchat TV show into a platform with over a million daily views?A: I worked with Arsenic TV from its inception, and it was a great experience. Arsenic grew to a million views per snap between 2016-2018, and I was one of their resident hosts during that time.Q: How has your approach to social media evolved over the years?A: Understanding social media and using it as leverage in entertainment was key for me.
