Timea MajorovaTimea Majorova is one of the most photographed fitness models in the world. Voted %u201cmost popular%u201d fitness model by the readers of Flex Magazine in 2000, she has graced the cover of over 200 magazine covers internationally, won multiple international fitness challenge titles, and produced her own line of fitness products and advice literature. It is these credentials, as well as her underlying training as a physical therapist, that ensures she is regarded as a world-class fitness industry expert and spokesperson. %u201cI truly believe that the key to my success,%u201d says Timea, %u201cis always staying positive.%u201dA native of Slovakia, Timea started her career in the sports and fitness industry at a very young age.She studied in Bratislava and graduated as a physical therapist. During this period,Timea also won a beauty contest and pursued some modeling opportunities. Timea entered her very first fitness contest in 1994 when she finished in second place. The following year she won the event, which led her to a series as a regular role on a highly-rated Slovakian fitness program.In 1997 Timea became the European and World champion and following these contests she moved to Los Angeles to represent Slovakia in International competitions. She found herself suddenly competing alongside her fitness idols. Timea has taken part in more than 20 competitions and contests, including 4th place at the Fitness Olympia and 2nd place at the Fitness International hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger. In 2003 she signed under contract none other than Joe Weider ,co-founder of the IFBB and the world%u2019s leading publisher of fitness related magazines.
