Stylist: Mimmo CarabettaModel: Alicia TadristMakeup/Hairstyle: Christophe PujolQ: What are the pros and cons of your work?Pros: In modeling it%u2019s getting to see my vision come alive for a certain look or feel and using my creativity to create engaging content. Working on a set with everyone involved in a shoot is also very energizing, and I always walk away inspired and with new ideas. Also, I am regularly modeling for Simple Green, which is so much fun as I can utilize my talents for our family company, and often get to work with my husband and my mom. For our non-profit, the pros are of course rescuing dogs and finding them forever homes. Plus, I feel that I am fulfilling my purpose in life of saving as many dogs as possible.Cons: Modeling is hard work both in front of and behind the camera, and it can take a lot out of you physically. There are no cons about my work for our foundation, as working with dogs is my greatest joy. The only con would be not being able to rescue all the dogs in the world!Q: What do you like to do in your free time?I typically like to go for a run or swim in the morning, then play with my dogs, and visit and work on our Amore for Dogs Haven that we are remodeling. Later, I do some creative planning for upcoming photo or video shoots. My friends would say that I am happiest when I am spending time with my dogs! I also often take a walk to the beach or a park and just enjoy the nature around me- the sun, the wind, the rain, and talk to God while doing so.Q: Do you have your own motto, mission? My father taught me that hard work pays off if you are living your passion and following your dreams. My mission is to dedicate my resources, time, and efforts to dogs in need of care. After my beloved Bichon Frise, Amore, passed, I started the foundation with her as our namesake. Every time I save a dog, I feel like Amore brought me to them, and that I am truly doing what I am meant to be doing.Q: Where should a beginner start if they want to follow in your footsteps? You need to love what you do and understand why you are putting your time and energy into something. Then, take on as much work as you can because you will gain experience and learn valuable lessons from every shoot or project in which you are participating. If you feel that it is your purpose, everything will align. Of course, you need to work hard, give 110%, and understand that setbacks are normal, but keep pushing.
