Her skill at interpreting acting roles has caught the attention of many well-known figures in the field of the entertainment industry. Having attained the resounding success of %u201cThe Consequence of Love,%u201d Paolo Sorrentino, one of Italy%u2019s finest directors, selected Salvucci for his movie, %u201cThe Family Friend.%u201d More roles soon followed in %u201cThe Torturer,%u201d directed by Lamberto Bava, %u201cRed Riding Hood%u201d by Giacomo K. Cimini, %u201cThe Night of the Sinner%u201d by Alessandro Perrella and starring Robert Englund, %u201cLa Rabbia%u201d by Louis Nero, and Marco Carlucci%u2019s %u201cIl Punto Rosso.%u201d She also performed in the thriller %u201cMidway, Between Life and Death,%u201d directed by John Real. From that moment on, she started an artistic collaboration with the same director, shooting with him another movie in English entitled %u201cThe Music Box%u201d and the tv series called %u201cFeel the Dead.%u201d Antonella also appears in some American movies, shot in Italy, like %u201cThe Voice & the Diva%u201d directed by Michael Oblowitz, %u201cThe American Connection%u201d by Jeff Espanol, %u201cThe Mission Possible%u201d with John Savage directed by Brett Roberts and the TV series still in production, %u201cEnforcer%u201d directed by Don Maxwell in which she is also the executive producer.Antonella Salvucci is an international actress who has worked in the USA, India, and, of course, Italy. She started her career as a fashion model in Italy and France, gracing the covers and pages of popular weekly and special periodicals. To cultivate her interest in acting, while still living in Rome, Salvucci enrolled in acting workshops directed by Lino Damiani, and master classes led by Anna Strasberg and Ivana Chubbuck. During this time, she focused on improving her English language performance abilities and subsequently, moved for a short time to Los Angeles, California. There, she deepened her studies of film and acting using acting coach Bernard Hiller%u2019s special techniques. Arriving back in Italy, Salvucci was ready for the small screen and soon landed roles in several successful television dramas, such as %u201cThe Marshal Rocca%u201d and %u201cCarabinieri.%u201d The turning point of Salvucci%u2019s film career was when Italian film director Aurelio Grimaldi selected her to be the female lead in the movie %u201cL%u2019educazione Sentimentale di Eug%u00e8nie.%u201d Adapted from a novel by Marquis De Sade, she played the role of a noblewoman of the eighteenth century who was both sweet and devilish.MOST MAGAZINE - ISSUE 42 25
