36 || FASHION MAGAZINE || NOV - DEC 2017had found my niche in modeling and as an extra in movies. As I turned 21 the city was my oyster becoming one of the most well-known names and faces of Las Vegas modeling and nightlife scenes. How did you find yourself immersed in the world of MMA fighting? My introduction into the MMA scene came in 2000 when I worked at the Whiskey Bar owned by Rande Gerber located inside the Green Valley Ranch Hotel owned by the Fertitta Brothers who had also recently purchased the UFC. They asked if I would like to be a ring girl and already being a huge fan of WWF and boxing I jumped at the chance to have free front row tickets!Allow us a front row seat, its fight night, can you describe what that feels like?Front Row seats to an MMA Fight are indescribable, the energy, the intensity! It%u2019s the most exciting live entertainment out there, and I was there at the beginning.Take us back to the moment when you met Tito Ortiz. We can neither confirm nor deny that we popped popcorn, awaiting your reply.I remember how nice he was and always looking out for people. He will say that he met me at the Whiskey Bar sometime before that but I was so in awe of all the celebrities that walked through back then. Back in those days UFC was a small family and most of them remained friends over the years. But I didn%u2019t start seeing Tito romantically until May 2013 when he was having knee surgery and was newly a single father of twin 4 year olds.Co-parenting can be challenging at times but raising children can also be incredibly fulfilling. What are some of most rewarding moments, big or small that you have shared with your children?Parenting is definitely one of the most difficult and rewarding job there is. I have to say that nothing in the world prepares you for it but little, hugs, kisses, and I love you melt you on the spot. Watching them learn and teaching them is the best. I feel so blessed that Tito shares his life and his children with me.WAGS of LA, did you relocate to film the show? How did this opportunity come to you?No relocation necessary, WAGS LA covers all of California. A couple of the wives are from San Diego as well. My agent Anna Chidoba called me about the show, whom I%u2019ve known many years she was also one of my modeling agents in Las Vegas.
